Ensuring Proper Dosage

Turbid water may require filtration and result in a lower volume of water treated per tablet. Always wait 30 minutes for the water purification process to take place, before hydrating.

What is the active ingredient in Aquatabs?

Each Aquatab contains sodium dichloroisocyanurate, commonly referred to as NaDCC. Aquatabs dissolve to release a measured dose of hypochlorous acid (free available chlorine) that is universally recognized as a safe and effective water disinfectant.

Do Aquatabs contain Iodine?

Can Aquatabs be used on cloudy or turbid water?

The more sediment or organic matter present in water, the more chances that microorganisms can “hide” from the chlorine disinfectant. If you only have access to cloudy water, follow the dosage table and use a smaller volume of water for each tablet.
